  10. I remember hearing someone say that their motorola modem was 
  11. very loud EVEN WITH THE LOWEST SETTING.  I don't remember 
  12. where I read it but ad any 
  13. experience with this.  I'm thinking of getting an external 
  14. Motorola, and would like to get one that'll connect at the new 
  15. standard 33+ baud.

  17. Also, do they run fairly cool?  Last time I shopped for a 
  18. modem I discovered some ran quite hot.
